Corporate Identity and Profiles - Work with a series of small firms to create a consistent image across all products or services. The package includes design and development of company logos, letterheads and visiting cards. Corporate ID clients include AG and I partnership (Public relations consulting), GlaxoSmithKline, Niagra fabrics and local IT firms such as E-patterns, Enercom and Ebiz.Corporate Profile for Merck Marker Pakistan, Pakistan Hosiery Association. Degree design for Iqra University. Promotional Items - Propose and design promotional items and brochureware for clients’ business development initiatives. Examples include creative direct mail items such as tea coasters sent to existing/prospective customers of Generation Tex, (textile exporter). Event/Space Design - Provide interior design expertise for client events. This includes assessing space requirements, customizing accessories and furniture to overall design in addition to graphic designing of individual booths. Key deliverables designed include brochures, pamphlets, banners, posters and promotional giveaways. Other web design projects include clients such as the Pakistan Tanners Association and a children’s portal being offered by a UAE based company. Shop Graphics - Collaborate with architects and facility designers to discuss graphics concepts and implementation. Designed the visiting cards, tags, pamphlets and bags/boxes for M2 (clothing outlet). Other projects included The Cupola Group, restating their image in baking goods and confectioneries. Shop signage, corporate ID and inhouse posters for new outlet of Moosajees, a famous cloth outlet. Editorial Design - Youth paper named “The Crossings” has been the base of our editorial work. It has been designed to target younger audiences, with color, text, imaging and layout. Commercials and Documentaries- A 15 second commercial on treatment awareness for Glaxo-SmithKline, was locally aired. Create storyboards for TV commercials, assist editors and cameramen with shooting on Digi Beta systems and with the editing process. Dissertation – Divorce: The three sided coin – A 12,000 word paper on divorce, its legal implications according to Islamic laws, and its psychological effects on the family. SKILLS Computer – Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia freehand Photography – Proficient in digital photography and 35 mm. Provided art direction for professional photo shoots. PERSONAL Active member of College and School Athletic Association and other extracurricular events. Passion for theater! Member of a local amateur theater group from 1996-2000. Acted in several theater productions for fund raising and charity. Traveled to the UAE and Singapore with renowned Pakistani artists performing a localized version of “A Black comedy”. Hosted several television shows. A founder member of the Alumni Association of Indus Valley. One of our projects is the foundation year where every month the first years are taken to different locations of Karachi to be made more aware of their city, and then are encouraged to be as creative as possible in presenting their thoughts to us as a group activity. These have been in the form of dialogue, theatre, installations, sculptures, etc. A very rewarding project. |
